A SERVICE IN ODISHA

    VINOBA BHAVE PRIMARY SCHOOL was established in 1997 and it is managed by the Unrecognized. It is located in Urban area. It is located in PURI MPL block of PURI district of Orissa. The school consists of Grades from 1 to 5. The school is Co-educational and it have an attached pre-primary section.  The sisters Adorers were taking care of children with love and joy. In this crucial period of pandemic, the children suffer a lot with physical uncomforted. They came to know about the service of Society of St Vincent De Paul and asked us to help the children.



            Madras Central Council had decided to help the children. The council had collected clothes for all the children in the school with the help of all Area Council Vincentians. The Vincentians have collected 535 Kgs of dresses as kind and sent it to Puri.

            Sisters Adorers have received the clothes and heartily thanked for the MCC Vincentians service.

You have taken much troubles to get it done. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS IN ABUNDANCE AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR UNDERTAKINGS.

As we are working with the fisher flock in this area it is a great help to get this sharing. We will be distributing the clothes on Monday and Tuesday after getting arranged. MAY THE WORKS OF GOD GROW MORE POWERFULLY.”

 A SAINT IN OUR TIME Fr Stanislaus Lourduswami SJ 1937-2021                    S wami was born on 26 April 1937 in Veragalur, Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu, India. He joined Jesuits in 30 May 1957. In the 1970s, he studied theology and received a masters degree in sociology in the Philippines. He ordained as Jesuit in 14 April 1970. where he encountered a series of protests and demonstrations against the administration. During his further studies, he made friends with Brazilian Catholic Archbishop Helder Camara. His work with poor people influenced him. His final vows had received in 22 April 1981.               In Chaibasa, Swamy worked on PESA implementation and on displacement of tribal people due to mining, townships, industries, dams, among others.
